```Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced baker to join our team in the food industry. As a Bakery Supervisor you will be responsible for various tasks related to food preparation, cooking, customer service and supervising a team of hardworking individuals in our bakery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for the service industry and a desire to provide exceptional and quality baked goods.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook items according to recipes and quality standards

- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Provide excellent iniative by superivising the staff, while reporting to the bakery manager.

- Supervise and train bakery staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols

- Collaborate and communicate with Front of house & Cafe management to sustain and fulfil demand.

Experience:

- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a bakery or chef setting

- Previous experience in a supervisor role.

- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety guidelines

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Proven ability to work well as part of a team as able to guide and support bakery staff.

-Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

In this role you will be focused more on baking breads and our signature items.

Training will be provided following our recipes. Starting Mid April.

Please note that we are a seasonal business usually operating from May - Oct and we would like to secure this position ASAP.

Salary: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
