Shift Availability:

Our vibrant Coffee Shop operates from Monday to Friday, 07:00 am - 03:00 pm, and on weekends from 09:00 am - 03:00 pm.

Position: Barista/Cashier

As a Barista at A Kinder Cup, you play a pivotal role in curating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. Beyond crafting the perfect cup, you'll be a friendly face, creating a welcoming environment that defines our commitment to top-notch customer service.

Responsibilities:

• - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages with precision and adherence to quality standards.
• - Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment to ensure excellence in brewing.
• - Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering inquiries about coffee origins, flavors, and brewing methods.
• - Artfully steam milk, create latte art, and maintain consistency in beverage presentation.
• - Handle cash and card transactions accurately, following established procedures.
• - Maintain a clean and organized workspace, restock supplies, and monitor inventory levels.
• - Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours.
• - Uphold health and safety regulations, following proper food handling and sanitation guidelines.
• - Attend training sessions to expand knowledge of coffee varieties, brewing techniques, and equipment operation.
• - Contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
• - Assist in opening and closing procedures of the coffee shop.
• - Perform a daily end-of-day inventory countdown and report to General Management for purchases.
• - Other duties as required by management.

Qualifications:

• - Previous barista experience in a coffee shop is a must.
• - Ability to steam milk to create smooth and velvety textures for espresso-based beverages.
• - Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• - Attention to detail, ensuring each beverage meets quality and presentation standards.
• - Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• - Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
• - Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends.
