Bartender/Supervisor

Toboggan Brewing Company is looking for a Bartender with Supervisor experience to join our team. Toboggan is a fast-paced restaurant/pub, event space, brewery, and retail store with an open-concept indoor space and a large patio right in the heart of beautiful downtown London, Ontario. We aim to create a positive and inclusive space where guests can get together and enjoy some of our locally-produced food and beer.

Summary of the role
Reporting to the General Manager, the candidate should have extensive experience bartending and serving in a high-volume restaurant, along with some operations and administration experience. Qualifications should include exceptional floor management and customer service skills. Additional requirements would be proficiency in inventory management, knowledge of craft beer, and a working understanding of marketing and merchandising.

Qualification and Expectations:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a restaurant supervisor/management role
• Minimum of 2 years in a high-volume environment
• Proficient computer skills (POS system, Google Apps, Reservation systems)
• Proven success with people development and promoting a positive working culture
• Excellent management, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
