Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 9:00 am & 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm (Before and After School Programming)
Extended hours available on PD days, winter break, March break, and summer

Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Sports-Based Childcare Centre Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning and execution of before and after school programming, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, and fostering an environment that promotes active learning and positive social interaction.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate sports-based activities and programs for children aged 4-12years.
- Supervise and engage with children during before and after school programming hours.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times.
- Provide guidance and support to childcare staff to ensure the effective delivery of programming.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any relevant information.
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to plan and coordinate special events and activities during extended hours (PD days, winter break, March break, and summer).
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare or recreational setting.
- Knowledge of sports and physical activities suitable for children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation (preferred).
- Childcare or Early Childhood Education certification (preferred).
