We are looking for a BOOKKEEPER PLUS to keep track of the the company's financial data and be active in the collaboration of a growing company! The successful candidate will have experience using QuickBooks - a MUST please. You will be responsible for recording financial information and ensuring that all deadlines are met. Our organization is looking for an ambitious, hardworking individual who is self-motivated and eager to contribute to the success of a growing business. You must be organized and have a keen attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience with tracking financial transactions, maintaining related databases and running reports that detail updated balance sheets, knowledge of spreadsheets in Excel. The successful candidate will be a quick learner who is excellent problem-solver who has a passion for accurate data entry and can work in a group and independently. Managerial experience is a bonus, experience in copier or alarm company would be fantastic!
Full training on our office software will be provided. We can be flexible with hours if needed, you will have your own office, and we are looking to have someone join us soon!
Responsibilities: (in QBO)
- Record and categorize financial transactions.
- Manage A/R and A/P
- Prepare financial statements and analyses.
- Check balance sheets against bank statements.
- Adjust entries to reflect corrections and exceptions.
- Prepare records for tax purposes.
- Match vendor invoices to purchase orders.
- Check data for accuracy; verify calculations; and correct errors.
- Enter and maintain inventory
