We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper for one of our clients in North Bay, ON. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various administrative and clerical tasks.
Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Keep financial records using the ERP software
- Post Journal entries and reconcile accounts
- Maintain general ledger, accounts payable and receivable
- Help conduct payroll
- Prepare financial, accounting reports
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as bookkeeper
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
- High School degree; additional qualification as a bookkeeper considered an asset
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
