Bookkeeper

We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper for one of our clients in North Bay, ON. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various administrative and clerical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Answer and direct phone calls
• Keep financial records using the ERP software
• Post Journal entries and reconcile accounts
• Maintain general ledger, accounts payable and receivable
• Help conduct payroll
• Prepare financial, accounting reports

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as bookkeeper
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• High School degree; additional qualification as a bookkeeper considered an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift

Education:

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
• Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)

Language:

• English (preferred)
