Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative support to the team,

- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports

- Maintain and update filing systems, both electronic and physical

- Assist with budgeting and account analysis tasks

- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation duties

- Process accounts payable /receivable

-Payroll and governement filings

- Utilize accounting software Axon to perform financial tasks

- Assist with general office management tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an bookkeeper or in a similar role

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work performed

- Proficient in using accounting software

- Knowledge of budgeting principles and account analysis techniques

- Familiarity with account reconciliation processes

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

-Understanding of the transportation industry would be benifical but not necessary

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
