Bookkeeper

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks. This is a vital role within our organization, ensuring the smooth financial operations of the company. Working in a Pharmacy Retail setting is an asset.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies
- Process payroll and maintain employee records
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets
- Conduct account analysis and reconcile accounts as needed
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation
- Utilize accounting software to record transactions and generate financial reports
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and resolve any discrepancies

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage)
- Experience with bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and account analysis
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information

Salary: From $19.46 per hour
