Mac-Tower Inc. is a service organization which specializes in the repair, service, replacement, design and service of Plumbing, Electrical and HVAC and refrigeration equipment.

Mac-Tower Inc. has an immediate opening for a Bookkeeper with high level accounting and finance understanding with a preference in the mechanical industry.

• (5+ years) of QuickBooks Contractor experience.
• Computer experience including Office 365 (Excel, Word, Outlook Email).
• Ability to perform all accounting capabilities and maintain company files (in a confidential manner):
• Prepare invoicing/progress invoicing for customers including experience working in customer portals.
• Manage accounts receivables, accounts payables, credit cards, and deposits.
• Ensure bank and credit card reconciliations are performed (with liaison contracted bookkeeper).
• Perform all payroll requirements.
• Prepare/monitor cash flow on a regular basis.
• Data entry skills.
• Create and submit government remittances for GST, PST.
• Experience managing WCB and WSIB submissions.
• Maintain all personnel records.
• Professionalism and organization skills.
• Produce work with a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience administering/coordinating company benefits program (asset)
• Be a team player with the ability to work independently using good judgement.
• Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, listening and customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with the work well others.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with a high consideration to detail and accuracy.
• Resourceful, self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn as the as the company grows.
