Bookkeeper/Accounts Payable- Part Time

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure accurate and timely payments

- Maintain vendor files and historical records

- Ensure staff follow receipt submission policies and procedures for expenses

- Track expenses and process expense reports

- Verify the accuracy of vendor invoices, reconcile vendor statements, and resolve any discrepancies or issues

- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions

- Produce financial reports and supporting documents for any audits and year-end

- Reconcile company accounts

- Prepare and ensure accurate and timely payment of all sales and payroll taxes

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, and/or graduation from a certified Bookkeeping program is a must.

- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures

- Proficient in using accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks)

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Good communication skills, both written and verbal

- Familiarity with bank reconciliation processes

- Experience with account analysis and budgeting is a plus

- Knowledge of payroll processes is a plus
