We are seeking a permanent, full-time Accounts Payable clerk / bookkeeper to join our fast- paced, fun-loving team. The role is Accounts Payable focused with additional bookkeeping responsibilities.

About the Role:

• Responsible for a range of accounting activities including Accounts Payable, GL entries, bank reconciliations, accounts receivables, maintaining rent rolls
• Full cycle Accounts Payable including: o Process vendor invoices and employee expenses o Obtain invoice approvals o Issue payments via cheque and credit card o Reconcile vendor statements
• Full cycle accounts receivable including: o Issue invoices o Bank deposits and recording receipts o Maintain rent rolls
• Post journal entries
• Bank statement reconciliations
• VISA card reconciliations
• Answer and direct phone calls, emails and other correspondence
• Greet and assist visitors

About You:

• Certificate or diploma in bookkeeping or accounting an asset
• 2+ years experience in Accounts Payable
• Excellent communication, customer service, and multi-tasking skills
• Proficiency in use of MS Word and Excel
• Experience with Sage 300 an asset
• Ability to pay attention to details
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willingness to assist with inquiries and requests

Salary: $21.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
