We’re looking for a part time temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to join our EcoLogo-certified facility located in Armstrong, British Columbia. Our Armstrong Plywood Division safely and sustainably produces 195 million square feet of plywood every year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.
Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or a related field is preferred.
• Proficient data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective email correspondence.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions.
• Exceptional customer service skills for both internal and external clients.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and MS Office.
• Previous experience in a forest products environment considered an asset.

In this role you will:

• Complete financial transactions and facilitate seamless payment processes.
• Engage in email correspondence with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage the accurate and timely data entry of invoices in our systems.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth processing of payments to vendors and suppliers.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to prevent errors in the Accounts Payable workflow.
• Cover front reception duties as required, including for vacation coverage.
