Position Title: Branch Administrator
Team and Location: Commercial - Merritt, BC
Position Summary: Reporting to the Branch Manager, this position is responsible for a wide variety of tasks in an office work environment. As this position functions in a highly customer focused environment all persons are expected to perform their job duties in a professional manner and adhere to our company values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages reports
- Daily processing of inventory transactions
- Assisting with weekly and monthly cycle count processing
- Support the lead dispatcher with the scheduling and routing of truck fleet
- Answer incoming customer calls
- Order office supplies
- Process all purchases, (JDE, code and get signatures)
- Process all Scotiabank purchases
- Process all wholesaler purchases
- Member of JOHS committee
- Deposits (processing/drop off)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Business/Office Diploma or 2-3 years office related experience
- Knowledgeable with accounting processes
- Good problem solving and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up
- Excellent customer service skills
- JD Edwards experience considered an asset
- Comfortable learning new computer programs
- Strong verbal communication skills and analytical skills
- Experience with Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word and Outlook
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of lubricant products would be an asset
- Experience with fleet/vehicle scheduling would be an asset
