Acadia Broadcasting is a growing media company with radio stations in Atlantic Canada and Northwestern Ontario. In each of our markets, our company focuses on being the community's local voice for entertainment, news, and events.
Are you a people-person with an outgoing personality? Do you want to be the ultimate ambassador for your favorite station? If so, we've got the job for you! As a Brand Ambassador for Hot Country 103.5 and Surge 105, you'll be the face of the station at all the hottest events in town.
You'll be responsible for spreading the word about our amazing radio stations and engaging with listeners to keep them entertained and informed.
This is a summer position with a tentative start date around the end of May and runs until Labour Day.
So, what else will you be doing?
- Your job will include setting up and tearing down station banners and signage at events, handing out swag, and interacting with fans of all ages.
- As a Brand Ambassador, you'll get to meet new people, have fun, and make a real impact on your community.
- You'll get to create digital content for our brands on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & our websites.
- You'll be the face of the station, so it's important that you're comfortable being in the spotlight.
- You'll be at the hottest events so must have a flexible schedule and be available to work evenings, weekends & some holidays.
What we are looking for:
- Must be 19 years or older.
- High energy, outgoing, and eager to initiate conversation with the public.
- Experience with creating engaging and creative content for various social media platforms.
- Someone with a curiosity in media and digital marketing.
- Previous promotional and social media experience is an asset.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Must have a flexible schedule and be available evenings and weekends.
- Must hold a valid full driver's license with a clean driving record.
