Packaging Line Operator
Spinnakers Brewery and Soda Company are looking for a hard-working, mechanically inclined craft beer and Soda enthusiast to join our packaging team. The primary focus of the position will be operating the canning and bottling lines, but will also include cross over with cellaring activities and other warehouse needs. Although brewery experience is not required, it would be a strong asset.

Key Responsibilities include:

· Safe and sanitary operation of the canning and bottling lines

· Carbonating products to appropriate levels

· Participating and assisting in equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.

· Washing and filling kegs

· CIP and sanitization of tanks and packaging equipment

· Driving product between the production and packaging facilities

· Operation of forklift and pallet jack in day to day warehouse operations

· Assisting with warehouse activities

· Professional and courteous communication with coworkers

· Maintaining proper packaging logs

Experience and Requirements:

· A positive, self motivated work ethic

· Able to follow direction

· Good communication and teamwork skills

· Previous experience in beverage packaging preferred

· Must have a Class 5 BC drivers license and clean driving record

· Must be physically fit and able to safely lift over 50lbs.

· Happy to work in a flexible environment where daily tasks may change based on team demands and able to handle the pressure of meeting time constraints.

· Able to stand in a stationary position for long periods of time and complete repetitive motions

Other skills considered an asset:

· Mechanical experience

· Delivery and warehousing experience

· Forklift certification
