Job Description
RBC Bank is hiring a Business Analyst – Banking Operations who will elicit, analyze, and communicate requirements related to capabilities that empower the customer with first point of contact resolution and exception processing. This person plays a central role in developing compelling digital interactions and championing the security of the customer and the bank. The ideal candidate is a problem solver with a solid understanding of digital servicing platforms and customer experience.
Conducting research and analysis on the effectiveness and efficiency of current processes and systems; delivering report findings.
Providing guidance and technical support during the implementation and configuration process for ERP solutions.
Create initial Epics and user stories that clearly describe functional and non-functional Originations requirements regarding unsecured lines of credit (Credit Card/PLOC)
Responsible for analyzing and documenting functional system requirements to accompany user stories
Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions with SMEs from the functional units using standard techniques such one-on-one or group interviews
Create acceptance criteria for all users stories
Develop other business analysis artifacts such as business rules or process flows to clarify requirements
Attend all Agile ceremonies, including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Grooming and Retrospectives
Assist with translating as-is and to-be business needs, processes and procedures into a user story details, and articulating on specific software requirements by communicating about these requirements with technology experts and business stakeholders.
Work with test leads drafting UAT test cases based off business requirements
Partner with vendors, Lines of Business and IT to assess, research, analyze and document business needs to support the vision.
Create and review documentation required for production release and support
