Job description

PRIMARY PURPOSE:

The Business Development Associate will help craft our client-success strategies, building strong relationships with customers and collaborating with cross-functional leaders internally to deliver consistently excellent client experiences. The Business Development Associate will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing support, resolving issues, and driving engagement to maximize their experience with Civiconnect’s products and services. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

WAGE: $630 per week

PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT: May 6th, 2024 until August 23rd 2024KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop and maintain customer-success strategies and best practices, as well as client-support content

· Communicate effectively with all members of the organization to better understand customer needs, maximize growth, and to share learnings

· Support all stages of the sales process

· Identify potential client leads and conduct initial outreach

· Guide new clients through the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition and successful adoption of our offerings

· Draft and develop requests for proposals (RFPs), ensuring clarity and completeness

· Maintain existing customer-success metrics and data as directed

· Develop and deliver education resources, tutorials, and training materials to help clients maximize the value or our products and services

· Serve as day-to-day contact for assigned accounts, building trust and rapport while identifying areas of opportunity, highlighting best practices and documenting both

· Provide prompt and courteous responses to client inquiries to assist with their requests and concerns via email, phone or in-person meetings

· Troubleshoot technical issues, product questions, and service-related problems

· Follow up with management about issues that have not been solved

· Review the customer journey, determine how it’s supported, and use a consultative approach to help clients overcome issues and achieve their goals

· Facilitate interaction and workflow among project team members to ensure timely deliverables

· Identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement

· Work with sales and marketing teams to boost client referrals and develop case studies

· Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams and follow up to ensure timely resolution

· Other duties as required.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

· Hybrid with frequent meetings through Microsoft Teams.

· Will be required to attend networking events outside of regular working hours.

· Ability to access reliable transportation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Please Note:No prior experience is required, however, knowledge of the following is beneficial.

· Experience in communications, marketing, sales, account management, or customer service

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field

· Passionate about using their analytical skills to identify problems, find solutions and improve relationships

· Analytical and process-oriented mindset

· Ability to work effectively across multiple departments in a deadline-driven environment

· Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Civiconnect receives government funding based on certain eligibility requirements. Please only apply if you meet the following criteria:

- Must be between 18-29 years of age

- Must be enrolled in part-time or full-time studies at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a co-op or internship.

- Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident

- Must be able to work full-time for 14 weeks.

- Must be a member of at least ONE of the following demographics:

- Racial minority

- First Year Student

- Indigenous

- Francophone

- A woman enrolled in a STEM program

- Disabled**

** Includes: vision impairment; deaf/hard of hearing; mental health/cognitive condition ie. depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar; intellectual/learning disorder; autism spectrum; physical disability).

You will need to provide certain administrative documents if offered employment including:

- Proof of ID (copy of Birth Certificate, Passport, Permanent Resident card).

- Proof of Enrollment letter from Registrar's office.

- Completed TD1 & TD1ON form

- Direct deposit slip from a financial institution.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $630.00 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Beamsville, ON L3J 1B0
