Business Development Centre Representative

Key Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC, a member of The Key Auto Group is currently hiring for (1) Full Time Business Development Centre Representative.

Purpose of Job:

The Business Development Center (BDC) Representative is a customer service oriented individual who can communicate in a clear efficient way and is responsible for lead generation activities in support of the company’s service department goals.In addition, BDC Representatives are responsible for following up with current owners to ensure warranty and regular maintenance are scheduled as required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Driving traffic for the service department by setting appointments for prospective customers.
• Taking inbound calls for service appointments and making outbound calls for owner follow-up.
• Providing outstanding and courteous customer service assistance either electronically or over the phone.
• Maintaining and updating customer information into the designated software system.
• Following up on customer visits to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensuring protection of customer information by continually following Information Security procedures.
• Addressing customer concerns, questions and issues and escalating them as needed with the appropriate department personnel.
• Directing customers to the appropriate department or point-of-contact.
• Any other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities:

The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED and/or college degree, or relative work experience. Previous scheduling or automotive experience is not required but is considered an asset. In addition, they will possess:

• excellent communication skills (both written and verbal),
• the ability to speak clearly and comfortably on the phone,
• computer and technology system skills,
• the ability to work well with others in a team-based environment,
• motivation, ability to work independently,
• Extended sitting and computer use is required.
