Business Development Manager
Adecco is currently recruiting for a Business Development Manager. This is a full-time permanent opportunity with our government client in downtown Ottawa, ON. The successful candidate must hold a Secret Security Clearance.
The Business Development Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- The Business Development Manager will oversee overseeing sales operations.
- Establishing and nurturing existing and new sales relationships throughout Ontario, including engagement with municipalities and property managers.
- Guiding customers through the entire process, from initial contact to site assessment, quotation, scheduling, execution, and project completion, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Thorough data collection and reporting to track progress towards goals and foster continuous improvement.
- Undertaking any additional tasks as required by our dynamic and entrepreneurial organization.
- Fulfilling other related tasks and obligations as needed.
- Other duties as assigned;
- Demonstrates self-motivation, determination, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed.
- Displays a willingness to learn and the ability to lead and manage local teams effectively.
- Possesses strong professional communication skills, adept at customer service and negotiation, preferably within municipal and property management contexts.
- Exhibits meticulous attention to detail for measuring and tracking progress, proficient in data capture using CRM systems and spreadsheets.
- Offers work-from-home flexibility, with occasional site visits required in the Ottawa region.
- Focus primarily on the regional market with some travel to northern provinces and inter-provincial areas.
- Competitive compensation package, predominantly commission-based, with potential earnings ranging from $85,000 to over $120,000.
- Base salary constitutes approximately 50% of total compensation, with commissions generated from all sales without a cap.
