A Day in the life
Responsible for the commercial relationships with our indirect partners, supporting them to grow their business on an omni-channel basis.
BDM’s to collaborate with KAM’s in order to create efficiencies in the ways of working.
Develop, lead and coach Education lead/s for territory to synergize the ways of working in order to maintain business and grow market share in territory.
- Develop, monitor, and manage a portfolio of distributors and top accounts, in accordance with the strategy of division and multi-brands.
- Create an annual business plan/trade marketing plan considering levers of growth to achieve brand results & goals (sell-in, sell-out, POS, market share) and the profitability of brands within the account.
- Effectively communicate results on a monthly basis.
- Effectively forecast yearly, quarterly, monthly budgets for the BDM’s. Collaborate with brands to build Budget & Trends.
- Monitor market & in salon activities.
- Lead or participate in the negotiations with distributors on key launches, merch/store space and stock. Establish and develop partnerships and strong relationships with the trade marketing.
- Establish, implement, and execute the plan including trade marketing/animation/ merchandising/training. Follow up ROI of actions and animations. Support the development of the account, including e-com.
- Monitor contracts/invoices associated with the brand. Prepare and conduct brands JBP (Joint Business Planning) meetings with the trade marketing.
- Help identify KPI’s and inventory reports to help our distributors manage effectively.
- Bring valuable detailing days with street and store teams (minimum 4-6 days per month).
- Develop New Partnership plans with all field teams (Maintain a list of 10 NP accounts).
- Co-ordinate with other internal departments on distributor activity (sales, supply chain, marketing, customer service, education, merchandising, legal department).
- Lead all sales meetings including field and stores with upskilling as the core of the meetings.
Who you are
- At least 5 years in a relevant sales or Business Development role
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with experience of building relationships
- A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to work accurately at pace and cope with ambiguity.
- Experience of managing change/leaders of change - through rapid growth.
- A strong stakeholder management experience and the ability to influence at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze data, draw accurate conclusions and communicate key messages succinctly.
- Strong planning and organization skills – with an ability to appropriately re-prioritize and change as required to meet deadlines.
- Understand Customer needs and knowledge of industry.
- Build new partnership & distribution by maximizing the distribution with new and existing accounts in order to grow market share.
