Business Development Manager

A career as a Business Development Manager at National Bank means developing strategies and providing coaching to advisory teams in terms of loan insurance and other protection services. ** The role may be based in one of our major business centers, either Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto or Ottawa depending on the successful candidate. As you will be responsible for a large region, you will be required to travel a lot.

Your job:

• Act as a coach for the advisory teams in your regions
• Identify business opportunities that may emerge from the market and make recommendations on actions to be taken
• Contribute to the definition of business orientations and services under your responsibility
• Ensure the achievement of the objectives set in the regions under your responsibility
• Work in partnership with the Bank's various sectors and in close collaboration with the Firm's financial security advisors to develop new strategies and/or create a mix of pitches that meet the needs
• Establish a privileged relationship with partners and ensure their satisfaction by offering them a personalized service
• Develop strategies to enable the branch network teams (Branch Manager, Customer Service Manager and Bank Advisors) to achieve the objectives of loan insurance and protection solutions (APCC/Sécurzione)
• Disseminate training activities related to loan insurance
• Be the main point of contact and work closely with leaders in your regions (RVP, AVP)

Your team:

Basic requirements:

• Industry-related bachelor's degree and five years of relevant experience OR Industry-related Master's degree and three years of relevant experience OR University certificate and seven years of relevant experience
• Experience in Business Development
• Experience in facilitating training activities and/or coaching
• Ability to analyze and establish a skills development plan
• Knowledge of loan insurance products is an asset
• Excellent time and priority management
• Be results-oriented
• Good ability to influence
