Cafeteria Cook/Cashier

If you are just starting out in the service industry and are passionate about food and delivering friendly customer service, this is the job for you.

We are looking for a team member that wants dependable night shift hours, working independently in a private cafeteria setting at a Corkstown Road location.

Personal transportation to the facility would be required.

Responsibilities:

* Ensure all menu items are prepared and served according to departmental policies and procedure

* Cleans utensils, equipment, and the storage, food preparation and serving areas for the purpose of maintaining sanitary conditions

* Collect payment

* Prepares and serves food and beverage items

* Maintain a clean and welcoming appearance of all equipment and serving counters

* Ensure that the correct quantities are prepared to meet daily needs. Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:

* Cooking experience in a high volume establishment

* Food handler certification

* Ability to use serving and preparation tools and equipment

* Good understanding of food handling safety practices

* Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with others

* Must be able to stand for long periods of the work day

* Shifts would include nights managing by yourself with light cooking and cleaning details

* Evening and weekend shift times are: 6:30pm- 2:30am

* Must speak English

• serving/cooking: 2 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (preferred)
