Your daily role

• Prepare, season, and cook food as directed
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean work station by exercising above satisfactory safety and sanitation practices
• Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment
• Process cash and debit/credit transactions, balancing the cash register and all closing procedures
• Advise appropriate person regarding stock outs/shortages
• Clean all indoor and outdoor employee eating areas (ex: sweep and mop floors often, wipe down lunch tables and chairs, clean inside employee fridges and microwaves, etc.)
• Assist with delivery of stock by organizing and storing items appropriately
• Working collaboratively in a team based environment, but also trusted to work alone when needed
• Other duties as assigned by HRBP

Your profile

• Must have previous experience in a food preparation environment with some cooking and cash handling experience
• Complete a Food Handler’s Certificate before first shift (requirement)
• Must be capable to speak, read and write English at a Level 3 comprehension level
• Must have good customer service skills with proven effective communication and problem solving
• You are able to work in hot, cold, and damp conditions
• You are able to work a flexible schedule throughout the week
• Proven ability to work effectively as a team
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and meet minimum dexterity requirements (ex: bend, twist, reach, lift, etc.)
• Hourly wage rate is $17.05/hr.
