Cake Decorator/Baker

Purple Oven Bakeshop is seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team in crafting authentic Filipino cakes, desserts, and pastries. As a Baker at Purple Oven, you will play a key role in ensuring the daily production of freshly baked goods, following traditional recipes and maintaining our commitment to quality.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and bake a variety of Filipino cakes, desserts, and breads.
• Adhere to recipes, ensuring consistency in flavor and presentation.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of baking ingredients and supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Uphold cleanliness and sanitation standards in the baking area.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
• Package finished cakes for pickup or delivery
• Assist with other food preparation tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Cake Decorator/Baker, preferably with expertise in Filipino desserts and breads.
• Knowledge of cake decorating trends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
