The opportunity

Your key responsibilities

As Indirect Tax, Manager you'll primarily be responsible for working on Indirect Tax advisory engagements. You will be using cutting-edge technology and working with team-oriented colleagues.

Core elements of the role include;

  • Demonstrating an advanced understanding of Indirect Tax concepts and effectively applying this Indirect Tax knowledge to client situations
  • Carrying out technical research, drafting memos, letters of opinion and various reports as part of a client's detailed Indirect Tax review
  • Developing and delivering timely services and work products that meet or exceed client expectations
  • Preparing practical and creative solutions applicable to the client's tax situation and arriving at appropriate conclusions
  • Independently managing multiple engagements
  • Identifying future opportunities for Indirect Tax engagements


To qualify for the role you must have;

  • A bachelor's degree, preferably with an emphasis on law, accounting or finance
  • 4 or more years of relevant, progressive, Canadian tax experience
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with a proven ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • A high level of drive and motivation along with a commitment to learning in a tax technology environment
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
