Our partners are establishing a new career college in Toronto and are looking to hire a Campus Manager who has knowledge in the education industry. Reporting to the Regional Director, this role is ideal for a candidate who has experience as a Program Coordinator who is ready to take the next step into a management role.
Key Responsibilities:
College Establishment and Compliance:
- Oversee the legal, compliance, and approval process for the registration of the new college in Ontario, focusing on the PARIS system.
- Achieve college status and subsequently develop and run diploma programs in sync with our educational ethos.
- Supervision of all campus staff and HR hierarchy, ensuring all employees meet their objectives with the departments as the following: Academics, Student services, Recruitment, Student Finance
- Oversee the development of legal and business programs for the college.
- Follow step by step the process as stated by the MCU, leveraging contacts within the ministry to complete the process as quickly as possible.
- Create business and legal programs based on industry experience and market potential: Law Clerk, Paralegal, and Legal assistant programs.
Program Development and Execution:
- Launch and manage short, non-regulated courses spanning business, technology, and healthcare sectors. Courses may include but are not limited to: Project Management, Web Development, Phlebotomy, Accounts Management, and legal courses.
- Establish and oversee an English Language Program to complement our short course offerings.
- Student Acquisition and SEMs (Strategic Enrolment Plan)
- Supervise the Academics Department of the college, ensuring quality staff are in place and are meeting objectives.
- Working with Academic experts in the industry to develop quality and cutting-edge
- programming that will create opportunities for student success.
- Creating in person, online and hybrid programming to meet customer needs.
- Conducting Market research to determine what is the most in-demand programming for our locations.
- Maintaining a database of potential partners, prioritizing partnerships that will benefit the college, attending events and fairs to explore the best potential result for the college.
- Creating and maintaining relationships with potential partners building trust and long- lasting communications.
Talent Acquisition and Collaboration:
- Engage with recruitment firms, particularly in areas with labor shortages like Yukon and Newfoundland, to facilitate placements for IT and healthcare graduates/skilled workforce
- Collaborate with local educational institutes, enabling graduates to meet regional job requirements, including local courses or examinations.
- Recruit and mentor all operational staff required for the campus.
- Create events such as job fairs (both in person and online) to connect employers with our school.
- Engage industry membership groups and organizations to consult and collaborate regarding their needs.
- Attend industry conventions and functions to facilitate the contact time necessary to create and maintain relationships.
- Executing compliance with each partner’s course requirements, assuring all instructors
- and facilities are certified as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 experience as Campus Management team member or Manager
- Experience in Campus management/Coordinator for registered institution in full-time capacity
- Strong communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- A bachelor's/masters degree in education is an asset
- Previous experience in compliance and ministry approvals is an asset
- Experience in course development or curriculum design is an asset
This Role is fully in-person/in office subject to change based on management’s discretion and operational need.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000.00-$78,000.00 per year
