The Opportunity: The Campus Service Liaison (CSL) at Sault College is a dynamic role that responds to both digital and telephone inquiries, and serves as a vital liaison with all departments. As a welcoming beacon of knowledge, this role is pivotal in supporting and welcoming both current and prospective students. Responsibilities include managing digital inquiries, curating automated responses to frequently asked questions, receiving phone calls, mitigating negative feedback and providing invaluable assistance across departments. The CSL embodies the essence of student support, ensuring a seamless and informative experience for anyone reaching out to Sault College.
Campus Service Liaison is also an integral part of fostering a positive campus atmosphere. This dynamic individual not only navigates digital and telephone inquiries but also contributes to campus events, orientations, and tours, ensuring a warm and inclusive environment for everyone. With a keen understanding of the college's offerings, the CSL plays a key role in helping students explore academic programs, extracurricular activities, and support services. Their friendly demeanour and wealth of knowledge make them a trusted resource, enhancing the overall experience for both students and staff at Sault College.
What you need to be successful:
- Minimum 2-year diploma in Office Administration, Marketing, Social Media, Communications, or Public Relation
- Minimum three years experience managing incoming Digital messages (email, social, etc.) and phone call routing
- Experience in effective communication and customer service skills
- Experience in problem resolution and customer support
- Experience working with minimal supervision
- Experience using the Microsoft Office suite of products, Customer Relationship Management Tools (CRM), Social Media and Social Media Management Tools (i.e. Hootsuite)
- Experience in aiding in event coordination or planning
- Strong organization, interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate competing priorities
Sault College provides an attractive total compensation package, encompassing competitive wages/salaries, a defined benefit pension plan, group insurance benefits, and a variety of employee perks. This is a full-time support staff vacancy, Payband F $30.00-$34.77/hour (starting rate $30.00/hour), 35 hours/week.
