Salary:
Classification 10, $27.15 - $27.99 per hour, as per the BCGEU Support Collective Agreement. Temporary employees are provided an additional $0.56 on regular earnings in lieu of benefits, and 6% vacation pay, for all regular hours worked.
This position is to fill a temporary vacancy until return of incumbent.
Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating operations of the Campus Services team, providing information to the public and students, providing enrollment and registrations services, cashiering and representing and providing services of the Office of the Registrar. The Lead position will also provide mentorship and training to both current and new campus service clerks, while acting as a point person for information and service updates from stakeholders, and for procedural changes within the department.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in admissions, registration, and/or enrollment services, with a minimum of 1 year of post-secondary education with a certificate in office administration or business administration is preferred. An equivalent combination of experience may be accepted. Experience and proficiency with a current version of MS Office, experience troubleshooting cash-out and balancing accounts is required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary as well as the ability to lead a team. Excellent organization skills with a demonstrated ability to prioritize, attention to detail and meet deadlines while working with frequent interruptions is essential. A valid BC Driver's license is required.
