Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and recipes provided
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality standards
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely meal service
- Assist in the development of new menu items and recipes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or needs to management
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of food handling, food service, and food preparation techniques
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in meal preparation or cooking roles
- Culinary training or certification
