Overview:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Community Care Workers. As a Community Care Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to participants in their homes or small option homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety at all times
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and organizing living spaces
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Engage in companionship activities, such as conversation, games, and outings in the community.
- Monitor and report any changes in the participants condition or behavior
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure the best care for the client
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
Experience:
- Previous experience in participant care or caregiving is preferred
- Familiarity with medication administration is beneficial
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Type: Casual
Salary: $17.49-$17.70 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 48 per week
