Overview
The Service Installer will be a full-time member of the Service Department, working alone or alongside other Service Installers and Service Technicians on installation projects and service calls.
Day To Day Duties(including, but not limited to)
· Arranging and executing installation projects within access control, CCTV, enterphone, security alarm, and structured cabling as directed by Service Dispatch.
· Troubleshooting and repairing equipment and devices.
· Face to face and telephone contact with customers to respond to inquiries and requests, and coordinate work.
Qualifications & Experience
Must have:
· Strong proficiency working with access control, CCTV, enterphone, security alarm, and structured cabling equipment, as well as computers and computer networks.
· Ability to work in finished and occupied spaces while maintaining a tidy work environment.
· Ability to demonstrate efficiency, flexibility, and organizational skills within a fast-paced and busy environment.
· Ability to work in a team environment as well as solo wherever necessary.
· Valid driver’s license and vehicle.
· COVID-19 BC Vaccine Card.
Qualified candidates will be offered $29.00 per hour along with a company gas card and will be placed on a 3-month probationary period where training will take place. There will be a performance review at the end of this period and if they meet the requirements, they will be moved up to $30.00 per hour plus a $300.00 per month car allowance. Employees that fit the role as a long-term member of the team will be eligible to get a company vehicle.
