Job Skills / Requirements
As our Intermediate System Administrator, you'll be responsible for providing support for all technical design, planning, and implementation of various enterprise systems. You'll be w orking with the Senior Systems Administrator and our infrastructure systems deployed across the country, and you will play a key role in assisting and monitoring these day-to-day operations. You'll also act as the main escalation point for Tier 2 support requests, assisting our Service Desk with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
In this role, you will be participating in an on-call schedule, and you may be required to work flex hours to meet operational needs from time-to-time.
Responsibilities:
• Provide operational support for the organization's information systems
• Deploy systems infrastructure and application upgrades
• Implement backup procedures to help restore files or systems
• Track user requests and activities using ticketing system
• Develop and deploy user guides and training for various operating systems and applications, such as Office365
• Establish and perform program maintenance based on company and vendor standards
• Ensure timely user notification of maintenance requirements and impacts on system availability
• Monitor, maintain, and respond to network systems monitoring / Out of Band issues
• Apply best security practices to new and existing deployments
• Investigate cybersecurity alerts and action appropriate steps to fix issues
• Liaise with the Help Desk to solve escalated issues
• Interact with customers and staff at the technical level, as required
