This position will assist in all production duties in the Cheese Making process. Previous experience is an asset; however, training will be provided. The Cheese Making Production Worker position requires adeptness to work in a fast-pace environment with the ability to pay strong attention to detail and multitask effectively. This position ensures compliance of all Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety regulations and guidelines.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Accurately follow prescribed Cheese Making procedures ensuring consistent quality products
- Prepare, operate and monitor cheese vats and other manufacturing machinery
- Cheddaring, milling, scooping and pressing cheese
- Remove cheese from press
- Adhere to all sanitation procedures and policies
- Clean and sanitize vats, hoops, cheese press and all other Cheese Making equipment including buckets and bins
- Follow and maintain Good Manufacturing Practices
- Become familiar with HACCP

Physical Requirements:
1) Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, grab, push, pull, hold and carry.
2) Must be able to perform repetitive motion work.
3) Lift up to 40lbs.
4) Standing, walking, and climbing for 8+ hours a day.
5) Must be able to handle hot and humid environment of 80+ degrees
