Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations of the company, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and policies to support the company's goals and objectives
- Manage the financial planning and analysis process, including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board of directors
- Lead the development and implementation of financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with other departments to drive business growth and profitability through effective financial management
- Monitor and manage cash flow, investments, and risk management strategies
- Evaluate financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement
- Lead the finance team, providing mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities
Skills:
- Strong business development skills to identify new opportunities for growth and expansion
- Extensive knowledge of corporate finance principles and practices
- Proficiency in account reconciliation and financial statement analysis
- Experience in financial services industry preferred
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a track record of building high-performing teams
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors, suppliers, and partners
- Proven ability to drive sales growth through effective financial strategies

Qualifications:
- University degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related discipline.
- Accreditation from provincial or territorial accounting body as a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA).
