Childcare Classroom Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities and curriculum
- Supervise and engage children in play, both indoors and outdoors
- Assist with daily routines such as mealtime, naptime, and diaper changes
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents or guardians
- Observe and document children's behavior, development, and progress
- Ensure a clean and organized classroom environment

Skills:
- Educate children through interactive and engaging activities
- Experience working with children in a caregiving capacity
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Organizational skills to plan and implement daily activities

Requirements:

-First aid/ CPR Level C

-current and clear Vulnerable Sector Check

-2-step TB Test

- up-to-date on routine immunizations

Salary: From $18.55 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
