Who You Are
Are you a natural 'people person?' Do you love helping others? We are looking for two new people to contribute to our productive, upbeat team! The Customer Service Representative will be the first point of contact for our customers calling in for support on their forestry equipment. You will answer customer inquiries, provide product knowledge, and process orders. You don’t need experience with forestry equipment or machinery, just a love for talking to people on the phone! By job shadowing our senior level Customer Service Representatives, you will eventually become a product expert!
What You’ll Do:
- Respond to customer phone calls, online chats and emails in a prompt and friendly manner
- First point of contact for inbound touch points from customers to answer product questions, take orders and resolve technical issues with their equipment
- Follow up with customers to ensure their questions are answered and ask if they require additional support
- Maintain physical layout, condition, and organization of showroom and/or technical department to ensure a clean and safe work environment.
- General office duties and other tasks as business needs arise
Our ideal new team member will possess the following:
- Positive and motivated attitude with a strong compassion for customers and sales
- Comfortable speaking on the phone regularly to customers, with patience
- The ability to become a product expert in a range of products and deliver this information to customers in a clear and professional manner
- Customer Service experience and/or Tier 1 help desk
- Computer skills - the ability to easily navigate software (MS Dynamics is an asset), and the ability to type with attention to detail
- Strong written communication skills, including grammar and spelling
- Capability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
- Efficiency and accuracy when obtaining customer and order information
- Fluency in English, both written and oral
- Ability to keep composure under pressure and de-escalate conflict
- Fluency in French is an asset
Work Location:
This position is located on-site within our Port Perry office; we are searching for a candidate that is comfortable working in our office full time.
