CHL has taken over the management of five Primary Clinics in Halifax, Nova Scotia operating under an independent brand.

Role Summary
CHL, a nationwide innovative healthcare solutions provider has healthcare staffing contracts with nine provinces and territories, international fulfilment operations and United States healthcare staffing client base, has recently taken over the operations of five Halifax primary care clinics. Previous ownership built the clinics with limited strategy and / or structure. CHL’s Clinic Management Group (operating under a brand independant from CHL) has extremely ambitious plans to add international clinicians, digitize / modernize, scale and add new clinic services. Improvements to Clinic Finance reporting and a general increase in structure to the clinics must be implemented, before the clinics will be properly positioned to scale. Reporting Structure
This role will report to the Sr. Director Finance and may work closely with the Senior Director of Growth - Clinical Operations.
Critical Accountabilities
- P&L Management and all relating functions
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Analytics
- Scope to potentially be increased depending on chosen candidate’s experience
Qualification & Experience
- 10 years experience (will consider ambitious entrepreneurial candidates with 7+ years experience)
- Accounting Designation (CPA or CA)
- Management accounting / Operational analytics
Preference will be given to candidates with the following experience:
- Experience working in an operating company
- Experience working in operations vs exclusively working in finance
- Experience implementing cloud based financial systems
- Experience managing people in addition to finance and accounting team members
- Healthcare and / or service industry experience
- Experience with digitization and / or tech transformation
- Entrepreneurial experience
Time Commitment:
- Full time, part time, permanent and contract basis candidates will be considered
- Preference will be given to full time candidates with desire for a permanent role
Location:
- Must be in Halifax office and / or clinics 5 days per week
- Must have full time access to a vehicle

Compensation
- Compensation is based on experience and qualifications
- Market base + generous incentive options

Salary: $45.00-$75.00 per hour
