Clinic Manager

The Clinic Manager is responsible for the efficient day to day operations of the clinic. Works collaboratively with physicians, patients, clients, and vendors to execute the organization’s strategic objectives and support high quality patient care. This role will ensure excellence in the provision of all clinic support services by leading our administrative and medical support teams.

We are seeking an efficient clinical leader, coach and mentor, that fosters high quality and innovative patient-centric care with a lens on efficiency and optimal functional outcomes. You are known for your drive to improve, grow and develop your team and services, consistently fostering innovative clinical practice, quality improvement, research and best practices. We are seeking full-time applicants at our West Lethbridge clinic.

Duties and Responsibilities in this role:

• Oversee daily clinic operations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor the clinic’s budget.
• Take inventory, and order necessary supplies and equipment.
• Hire and train new employees.
• Create new policies and procedures and ensure they make staff aware of new changes.
• Supervise staff and complete routine performance reviews.
• Ensure the healthcare facility is following provincial healthcare regulations.
• Update patient medical records.
• Participating in planning and implementation of short and long term tactical clinical, operational service plans.

Application Requirements

The following requirements must be met by an applicant in order to be considered for the position:

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, medical services administration, or a similar field preferred. Graduate with a college diploma or certificate in clinical management will also be accepted.
• 2+ years clinic experience.
• Previous supervisory experience is an asset.
• Proficient in administrative tasks, such as updating patient records and creating an efficient schedule.
• Strong interpersonal skills for talking to patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time well.
• Great analytical and decision-making skills.
• Able to lead and motivate a team confidently.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and provincial regulations.
• Understanding of finances to create and monitor a budget.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $21.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
