Position: Commercial Roofing Foreman

The Ideal Candidate

As a member of our Roofing team, you will be installing a variety of roofing systems. The ideal candidate will be:

• Utilize clear lines of communication and treat others with dignity and respect
• Ensure company vehicle is in safe operating condition and is equipped with the required tools and equipment for each job
• Responsible for the safe use of all power tools
• Conduct building inspections in partnership with clients
• Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate
• Demonstrated ability to teach skills and work effectively with others
• Good observation skills and problem-solving abilities
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a

positive attitude and exemplary leadership and customer service

• Exhibit positive and effective interactions with clients

Requirements

• Certified applicator with major commercial roofing systems including EPDM, TPO and SBS, with experience as a Foreman
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the commercial roofing industry
• Minimum one year of employee supervision experience
• Red Seal Ticketed as a Roofer, Damp and Water proofer is an asset
• Driver’s license required and your own transportation is considered an asset
• Can safely operate vehicles, mechanical devices and/or equipment
• Ability to work at various heights while adhering to safety protocols
• Can perform physical activity on regular basis
• Fluent in the English language and can clearly communicate with supervisors,

clients, and co-workers

• Be able to follow and understand safe work procedures
• Complete and submit all paperwork required in the requested timeframes
