The Opportunity
Do you enjoy providing emotional and relational support, encouraging others in their faith? Do you excel at administrative tasks as well as developing excellent rapport with others? Are you able to multi-task; work well under pressure; work collaboratively in a team; and function independently? If so, this might be a great fit! In this position you will use your well-developed interpersonal skills to greet and assist program tenants, participants, and community members, handling tenant inquiries and concerns in a timely manner and providing problem-solving as needed. You will also employ your outstanding communication skills to provide emotional and relational support, fostering a climate of grace and forgiveness, and providing administrative support to the other branches. If you have a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus, a diploma or certificate in human sciences, 2 years of related experience in abstinence-based housing, and a proven track record of punctuality and reliability, we want to hear from you!
You will frequently deal with clients in crisis situations, brought about by diverse problems. There will be other staff nearby to assist as required.
This is a permanent, full-timeposition. The standard schedule for this position will be Tuesday 10am-6pm, Wednesday 1pm-9pm, Thursday 10am-6pm, Friday 1pm-9pm and Saturday 1pm-9pm.
