Job Description:
We are currently seeking a candidate for a part-time consignment picker.
This position consists of the daily intake and curation of items brought for consignment assessment at our store. The ideal candidate has previous fashion experience, strong knowledge of current mainstream trends, and a passion for shopping secondhand.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the consignment selection process; understanding our clientele and selecting items based on specific criteria.
- Identifying and researching brands.
- Occasionally, you will be needed to help out on the sales floor by providing customer service helping us reach our sales goals.
- Providing a high level of customer service and performing daily clerical duties.
- Multi-tasking with other department duties when required.
Skills and attributes:
- A strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Prior customer service experience (1-3 years is preferred).
- Strong knowledge of current fashion trends and brands.
- Works well in a fast paced and high pressure environment.
- Works well both independently and collectively on a team.
- Prior consignment or secondhand buying/picking experience is ideal but not mandatory.
Must be available on Sundays
