Construction Crew Leader/Lead Hand
We’re looking for a hard-working individual to lead our team to build grain systems at construction sites around
Eastern Ontario. This position is a full-time, year-round position working approximately 50 hours per week.

You will:
- Report to our Winchester location, join a Construction Crew and travel around Eastern Ontario.
- Lead, assign, plan and provide directions to the crew.
- Build grain systems; concrete work, working at heights, millwrighting, and equipment assembly.
- Provide updates to the Project Manager regarding project timelines and as any project problems arise.
- Provide training to the crew in safe work practices of equipment, tools and job techniques. Contribute to the team with a positive attitude and continue to develop a great working culture, with an emphasis on health and safety.
You will have:
- Minimum 3 years’ previous experience working in agriculture and/or on a Construction Crew.
- Previous experience working in a leadership position, would be considered an asset.
- Previous experience operating various equipment including but not limited to welders, hydraulic lifting systems, forklift/telehandler.
- A willingness to contribute to a team effort and work hard.
- Ability to work comfortably and confidently at heights.
- Experience assembling grain bins or similar experience, would be considered an asset.
- Strong communication, problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
