Construction Supervisor

Responsibilities will include:

• performing all types of renovation work including but not limited to framing, forming, insulation, drywall, tile, flooring, trim, landscaping etc.
• Planning ahead and either ordering material required ahead of time or picking up when needed
• Communicating effectively and timely through email, text and phone calls
• Organizing multiple crews and communicating daily/weekly work schedules to them
• Dealing with staff and contractor issues. Reporting issues timely to managements and providing input for solutions to problems
• Reviewing and approving time sheets (if needed)
• Tracking km driven and reporting them accurately( if personal truck is used )
• Identifying and addressing safety concerns and reporting them to management
• Problem solving all sorts of reno issues
• Ensuring renos are done to code and to the plans
• Calling in the request or building inspections
• Ensuring work is complete prior to said inspections
• Training staff to ensure a quality standard is attained in all aspects of the renovations
• Ensuring quality standards are met by contractors
• Managing time to ensure you, staff and contractors are prepared to do the tasks at hand
• Ensuring correct renovation steps are completed so the project can be completed in the most timely manner. ie. framing before plumbing/elecrtical
• Other duties required
• Driver's License is a must

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Experience:

• Project management: 1 year (preferred)
