Responsibilities will include:
- performing all types of renovation work including but not limited to framing, forming, insulation, drywall, tile, flooring, trim, landscaping etc.
- Planning ahead and either ordering material required ahead of time or picking up when needed
- Communicating effectively and timely through email, text and phone calls
- Organizing multiple crews and communicating daily/weekly work schedules to them
- Dealing with staff and contractor issues. Reporting issues timely to managements and providing input for solutions to problems
- Reviewing and approving time sheets (if needed)
- Tracking km driven and reporting them accurately( if personal truck is used )
- Identifying and addressing safety concerns and reporting them to management
- Problem solving all sorts of reno issues
- Ensuring renos are done to code and to the plans
- Calling in the request or building inspections
- Ensuring work is complete prior to said inspections
- Training staff to ensure a quality standard is attained in all aspects of the renovations
- Ensuring quality standards are met by contractors
- Managing time to ensure you, staff and contractors are prepared to do the tasks at hand
- Ensuring correct renovation steps are completed so the project can be completed in the most timely manner. ie. framing before plumbing/elecrtical
- Other duties required
- Driver's License is a must
