Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Cook/Cashier. In your role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant. Your primary job will be as a cook, but you will required to serve customers in the front occasionally. Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and portion sizes
- Ensure that all food is prepared and served in accordance with food safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Assist with meal preparation and food service as needed
- Collaborate with the team to develop new menu items and specials
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, in a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety procedures
-Food handlers certificate required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
