Duties:
- This position is working in a Seniors Independent Living Facility
Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and food safety guidelines 3 days per week
- Serving in dining room 2 days per week
- Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Follow proper food handling and storage procedures
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Provide excellent service to residents.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or food service environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
