Job Description

As Crew Foreman, you have strong interpersonal skills, are a team player and will provide mentorship to other workers. You take direction from the supervisor with facility and pipeline maintenance tasks, including rigging and hoisting, trenching, unloading and moving materials, working in a high traffic area, etc., provide general clean up and ongoing monitoring and maintenance of work area and act as a spotter and flagger for heavy equipment operators when deemed necessary. You have the ability to make decisions quickly, work under pressure and prioritize work effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.

Qualifications & Requirements(not limited to):

• 3-5 years experience
• Ability to follow direction and attention to detail
• Must follow industry and company polices, safe work practices & procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, labour-intensive environment
• Must be willing to work outdoors in fluctuating climates (hot, cold, wet) and environmental conditions
• Valid Safety and/or Operator Tickets an asset (i.e. , H2S Alive, CSTS, OSSA Fall Protection, OSSA Confined Space and Standard First Aid with CPR, Skid Steer Operator Certificate, etc.)
• Previous oil & gas construction and maintenance experience an asset
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and clean driving record
• Be willing to work evenings, weekends, and overtime when necessary
• Experience running a two ton truck with picker

Training Requirements(not limited to) – training will be arranged if required

• WHMIS 2015
• Transportation of Dangerous Goods
• CSTS
• H2S Alive
• Ground Disturbance Level II
• Cargo Management
• First Aid with CPR
