Customer Service Representative

As a growing LTL / TL trucking company we are hiring for the position of Customer Service Representative. This is a full time position based out of our Head Office in Ayr, ON. Note own transportation required as not on public transportation route.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Take incoming calls from customers and respond to tracing emails
• Data entry of load information into the Fleet Management System
• Verify and update all load information to ensure all necessary information is correct, such as Customer contact details, rates, weight, times and location
• Assist in problem solving and conflict resolution with customers as problems arise
• Monitor load board to ensure accurate tracking of loads
• Communicate and update customer with load information
• Provide administrative support to Dispatch team as required

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent 1 to 2 years in a similar role
• Sense of urgency with a strong customer focus
• Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
• Excellent computer keyboarding skills
• Proficient with various computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of the Transportation Industry an asset
