Pride Group Logistics Ltd. has a new opportunity for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our asset-based team at our location in Brantford.

This is a salaried full-time Monday to Fridayposition with steady year-round work.

Shift: 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Training will be provided to the selected candidate, but it is preferred that the successful candidate has at least 2-years of transportation experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide and support service requirements of all assigned clients within a region.
  • Receive incoming telephone calls from customers, administrative and operations staff
  • Trace customers shipments and provide timely updates as required
  • Assist, investigate and correct customer issues and order delays with appropriate solutions/alternatives and follow-up.
  • Proactively communicate with dispatchers to avoid undesirable outcomes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers
  • Facilitate pickup and delivery appointments for every customer shipment
  • Input all relevant data for each freight movement into the computer system (TMS)
  • Various administrative duties as assigned by operations
  • Updating customer on-line portals daily, as required

Requirements :

  • Preferred: 2 years of experience working in the transportation industry
  • High school diploma or GED or a solid and comparative experience, working in a Customer Service role
  • Skilled at providing exceptional service to customers over the phone and e-mail
  • Energetic and positive nature, being able to manage many tasks at once
  • A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Effective problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Excel, Word, etc.
