We are a small, close-knit, and enthusiastic team looking to hire a Customer Service Representative at our Pelham area location. Greenhorizons offers high-quality sod, soil, mulch, seed, and fertilizer, as well as BigYellowBag’s for pick up and delivery for wholesale and retail customers. We take pride in providing excellent service and quality products.
You will be working with various types of heavy equipment including tractors and forklifts. No past experience is required as we do equipment training on-site and in-house.
The ideal candidate will have a Customer Service background, problem-solving skills, and clear communication skills. Knowing how to operate heavy equipment is an asset. Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
Must be available to work Monday – Saturday in an outdoor environment.
General Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers
- Enter customer orders into our database
- Sharing product knowledge with customers
- Address customer’s needs, complaints, or other issues with products or services in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintaining a clean work environment
- Perform general tasks as assigned
- Strive for 100% customer satisfaction
- Forklift operation (training provided)
- Loading vehicles/transports with sod and soil (training provided)
Requirements:
- Prior experience in Customer Service is an asset
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Good multitasking, time management, and organizational skills
- Customer-oriented and professional attitude
- Good phone etiquette
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- The ability to lift 55 lbs repeatedly
- The ability to work in a team environment
- Ready to work 60 hours per week

This is a full-time seasonal position that offers a 6 day work week at 50 to 65 hours per week.
