As a Garden Centre Sales Associate, you will thrive in a dynamic environment, engaging with customers and management to create an exceptional shopping experience. In addition to providing top-notch Customer Service, you'll be responsible for curating visually appealing displays of trees, shrubs, and plants, ensuring the garden centre remains well-maintained through tasks like watering, restocking shelves, and merchandise organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service Excellence:

• Interact with customers warmly, offering assistance and guidance.
• Direct customers to requested items, demonstrating your knowledge of the garden centre's diverse product range.
• Stay informed about the latest garden centre products, continually expanding your expertise.

Sales and Promotion:

• Actively promote in-store deals and promotions to enhance customer engagement.
• Keep customers informed about ongoing offers and discounts.

Merchandising Mastery:

• Craft visually stunning displays of trees, shrubs, and plants to captivate customer interest.
• Ensure shelves are well-stocked and displays are consistently attractive.
• Promptly report low stock levels to management for efficient restocking.

Maintenance Excellence:

• Attend to the health and presentation of plants through regular watering and maintenance.
• Rotate annuals, perennials, and stock to maintain freshness and appeal.
• Uphold a neat and tidy appearance of the garden centre for an inviting atmosphere.

Garden Centre Manager:

• Oversee the holistic operations of the garden centre.
• Manage staff, inventory, and financial aspects.

Department Manager:

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Standing/Walking: Expect to stand or walk for extended periods, typically 8 hours.
• Lifting/Carrying: May be required to lift and carry merchandise items, varying in weight from light to heavy, on a regular and unassisted basis.
